Marine Dorner (that's what she signs her checks at least) has been working at the Odessa underground hyper-science facility for three years.
As a janitor.
She couldn't tell you more than that, having just woken up from one of the facility's regularly mandated memory treatments. She has friends here (even if she can't remember all of them yet.) She has an aptly-named roommate, Gabby, who it turns out has been "more than a roommate" at times in-between these treatments.
And yet, despite all the closed doors and lockdowns, the facility seems safe. Comfortable, even. Until Marine wakes up to find everything's gone...very wrong.
What happened to everyone? What was the facility researching?
There are some doors only a janitor can open.
...And some that no one should...

This was awesome! Embric was a huge influence on me when I played it ~10 years ago, and I was delighted to see that there's more where it came from. The character writing is so, so good.
Had a great time with this! Was cackling constantly playing it with my partner, had a screencap folder stuffed with good jokes from the descriptions and dialogue. The Gabby/Marine banter is fantastic, we really believed in their relationship by the end. Thanks for making this and Embric, excited to play more of your stuff!
Hey, has Graphic Library gets flagged by some anti virus as malware. The dev has released an updated package that should avoid the flag.
at the beginning of the game, when u first are able to walk around, if u go out into the hallway and go to the left and into the first door u see, the game crashes because it cant find a certain file in the graphics folder, with a very long name that ends in "bag"
EDIT: after downloading and reinstalling from the rar, it works - maybe its just the zip version that doesn't have the file?
God I hope this is less dark than Embric...
